Founder’s Message

ValueCap was founded with the entrepreneur in mind and to serve an unmet need in the marketplace.

I have a great passion for entrepreneurship. As a society, we owe entrepreneurs so much. The world would be a very different place without those brave enough to strike out on their own. It doesn’t matter if they did it to fill a need, solve a problem, do something better than the next person, or just to take care of their family. What matters is that we all are better off because of the products and services they provide.

Unfortunately, as an M&A Business Broker, I see firsthand how few business exits are successful. It doesn’t have to be that way. My mission is to change that paradigm by helping business owners understand that preparation is the key to a successful exit and by guiding them through the process. Business Brokers at the Main Street level sell businesses with less than $2M in revenue. They do so by providing basic services under a simple model. M&A Advisors at the Lower Middle Market level sell businesses with more than $20M in revenue. They provide a sophisticated level of service that, for some, can be costly and overwhelming. What if your business is in the gap between $2M to $20M in revenue? You may be too big for a Business Broker or too small for a traditional Middle Market Firm. This is an underserved market segment in need of a higher level of service.

As a solution, my team has built ValueCap with a unique, process-driven model supported by great people to effectively serve those in that gap.
