Dean LoBrutto is the Founder and Chief Exit Officer for ValueCap Inc. where he is an M&A Business Broker. Dean also works with sell-side clients primarily in the manufacturing, distribution, and business services industries.
Dean consults with clients on strategic acquisitions, exit and succession planning, valuation enhancement and spearheads sell-side projects. He currently oversees operations for ValueCap Inc.
Dean is a member of The M&A Source® and The International Business Brokers Association® where he holds their Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation. As a CBI, Dean is an experienced business broker who is committed to the highest level of professional development the industry has to offer and has ethical values aligned with the IBBA standards of professionalism. A CBI has the ability to objectively guide clients through the intricacies of the entire marketing and negotiation process of a business sale, resulting in successful transactions and satisfied clients.
A CBI offers the most experienced professional representation available during the process of selling or buying a business. Along with having undergone a specialized initial program of detailed training, a CBI is required to earn continuing education credits to maintain the credential.
Dean has been the Founder and co-Founder of several businesses. One startup was the successor corporation of StonePoint Global Brands, Inc. a national water and beverage integrator, providing private label and custom label consolidated solutions and services that eventually went public.
Dean has over 15 years of experience in buy-sell work including business brokerage, exit and succession planning, business valuation, and franchise coaching. Dean has another 15+ years of experience working on projects for start-ups and early-stage companies in the areas of business development, sales management, key account penetration, and licensing.
Dean served his country in the U.S. Navy and his community through the Pittsford, NY chapter of Rotary International. Dean also founded the Care for Kids Group, an organization created to support Camp Ottie in its mission to provide disadvantaged children from urban centers an opportunity to enjoy nature and develop life-building skills.
